I am Drishti Bagdas, a 21 year old who has lived in and studied in Kalimpong - a quaint little town in the district of Darjeeling and is currently studying B.A. Political Science Hons. in Presidency University of Kolkata. I haven’t really written a blog before but I do hope that my passion for writing, travelling, eating exclusively delicious food (yes, I’m very fussy :P) and chit-chat brings to you a fulfilling ‘virtual wayfare’ experience. I am also a music lover and a keen observer apart from being an indolent of the highest order.
Living in Kolkata for quite sometime now has made my heart grow fonder of my lovely hometown and everything related to it. Many a times we tend to take things for granted, and in my case, I’d been doing the same to this humble little hill station. Now that I think of it, Kalimpong deserves much more than a few brief enlistments on travel blogs and the few tourists who decide to venture here a little on their way back from Darjeeling or Sikkim. So here I am trying to get my dear readers closer to the place that makes me what I am as I turn trekkie and virtually take you around and bring to you its flavours.

 

 

 

 

 

 

I am Siddharth Goutam. Fifteen years ago, I found a beautifully taken picture by my father - it was a very nice portrait of mine... a small innocent child, playing on the floor holding my mother's pendant. That photograph touched my heart and since then I've been intrigued by the delicate art of photography. At present, I am in the 12th Standard in St. Augustine's School. I enjoy taking portraits of people in the streets a little more than the rest...but in any sense, still photography and cinematography are close to my heart.
